"Dracula" is a 1931 American Gothic and supernatural horror film, written by Garret Ford and directed by renowned director Tod Browning, under the production company Universal Pictures. The film is based on the 1924 play of the same name by Hamilton Deane and John L. Balderston, which in turn serves as the first sound adaptation of the 1897 novel "Dracula" by Bram Stoker.
Synopsis.
Count Dracula leaves the Carpathian Mountains and moves to the West, taking an accountant with him as a servant. Once settled, he falls in love with a young woman who is already betrothed. He begins to visit her at night and gradually drinks her blood to make her his wife.
