On December 26, 1996, mother Patsy Ramsey got up to make coffee around 5:30 a.m.
when she found a strange two-and-a-half page note on a back staircase in the
house. The note mentioned that her youngest daughter, JonBenét Ramsey, had been
kidnapped and demanded $118,000 in cash for her return. It wasn't long before
the little girl was found dead under mysterious circumstances.
