“The War of the Worlds” is a British Science Fiction novel, written between 1895 and 1897 by English author Herbert George Wells, and first published in hardcover in 1898 by William Heinemann. It is known and recognized for being one of the first stories to detail a conflict between mankind and an extraterrestrial race.
Synopsis.
They have arrived from outer space, from Mars. Equipped with terrible machines, the invaders land on our planet and begin to spread terror and destruction. Their only goal is to conquer Earth and turn humans into their slaves. It seems that nothing and no one will be able to stop them.
