It is well known that the sequel to the 2004 horror classic “Saw” was readapted
from an original script written by Darren Lynn Bousman, who along with the
writer of the original “Saw”, Leigh Whannell, ended up making the final version
of the film. However, before production began, a script with more character
development and dialogue was contemplated, but ended up being discarded.
